Bob Dylan Jacket Reveal ā Part 3 of the Series š§µāļø
The final steps, some reflections, and a jacket Iām really proud of š¤
Part 3 of the Bob Dylan jacket series is here ā the one where I share a timelapse of the process, add the finishing touches and bring the whole thing together. Thereās something so satisfying about seeing a project come to life after hours of slow stitching and decision-making.
Not sure how many hours I put into this. I was in the flow and lost track of time⦠š
This piece was inspired by an original Bob Dylan denim jacket that recently sold at auction for $25,000 to TimothƩe Chalamet.
I just couldnāt help myself ā I had to try making my own.
Of course, I used materials I already had on hand, so itās not an exact replica⦠but Iām actually really happy about that. It ended up with a personality of its own, which feels just right.
See a picture of the front below:

In my latest YouTube video, I share a time-lapse of me completing the jacket, reflect a little at the end, and show some footage of my husband, Lorenz, modelling the finished piece (this was fun! š). Itās a menās denim jacket, so I wonāt be wearing it myself ā Iāll likely be adding it to my Etsy shop in the coming days.
If youāve been following this series, thank you for coming along for the ride. Itās been a joy to share the process with you.
You can watch Part 3 here!
Iād love to know if youāve ever made something inspired by an artist or musician ā feel free to share your own creative stories in the comments.
And let me know your thoughts on the jacket! āŗļø
Take care,
Lauren š
